![]() I wish the button to go to the next thing planned (session, long break, short break) was bigger and more intuitive. It would be great for there to be a pause button next to the stop button. I wish it was easier to pause a session/break instead of holding down the option key while clicking the stop button. I wish there was a way to stop a session early without throwing off the session/break schuedule. This would help so much with productivity and planning and I would love to have this feature implemented. This could look similar to the Stats/Review Panel, but instead of having it serve as a reflection on productivity, it could allow to plan out the Goals and duration of each session. I would love for there to be a way to plan out the the schuedule in advance. The timer at the very top of the screen is helpful. Has all of the features that you might need easy to access. Also put cut Basil in when mixing Pasta and Sauce, Parmesan Cheese on top of served portions.- It's a great design that's very simple, sleek, and minimalist. Great recipe - I added 2 T Balsamic Vinegar and 4 oz Pine Nuts toasted. I also love Marcella Hazan’s easy sauce: she also adds butter but simmers the sauce with 1/2 of an onion (not chopped) I remove the onion before adding the pasta. The jarred brands, even high end, have too much salt. I cannot tell you what a difference this is over any jarred sauce it’s amazing. I do add a pinch of sugar just to reduce some of the acidic taste from the tomatoes, but that’s what my mom always did, so perhaps it is fine without. Nice tip on additional butter, thank you. My late wife liked mushrooms, so I'd dice them relatively finely and add them to the tomatoes a few minutes in. I dice the tomatoes first, I feel that makes a better reduction. Love this! If I want to add some kind of meat - say, ground sausage - should I cook that in the dutch oven before the sauce, using the fat from the sausage instead of the olive oil? Thanks!ĭelicious, easy, and simple! This one’s a keeper! We LOVE this - so yummy and flavourful- plates licked clean ( figuratively:-)) Customize your focus timer and choose from minimalist themes. This sauce could be used in many other dishes, even to poach eggs. A minimalist Pomodoro timer to keep you motivated and focused. Really delicious! Splurged and used San Marzano tomatoes. If you can find Bianco diNapoli tomatoes (Safeway and Whole Foods, along with smaller markets carry them), they make the dish shine. Nesto is a convenient Pomodoro timer with embedded music and notifications for desktop and mobile devices. This is such a beautiful & delicious recipe. ![]() Thanks for sharing and I am a big fan of butter so you get no funny looks from me. Almost hard to believe that so few ingredients can make a sauce so delicious. Most of it is really bad, like it's been sitting there for about a week. I don't make it often so the price of the tomatoes is doable, however it is next to impossible to find "fresh" basil at the grocery store. I make a sauce very similar to this except for the chili flakes and I have to agree that homemade is 1000% better than the jarred stuff. Super cheap and elegant meal that we’ve enjoyed for years. I wish it had not taken me so many years to try this. ![]() Mind Blown! I will never eat sauce from a jar again. I'll have to see if I notice a difference with 3 next time.Īmazingly simple and delicious!! Added fried capers and doubled the garlic for a flavor kick. You can customize the length of the Tomatoes and breaks in the extension page. Take a longer break after completing four Tomato intervals. I only used 2 sprigs of basil because I didn't know what a sprig was until I got home and googled it, but it still tasted wonderful. Use Tomato Clock to break down your work sessions into 25 minute Tomato intervals separated by short breaks. Finally I can stop trying new jars of sauce from the grocery store in hopes to find something I like. ![]()
